Are your mini sweet peppers NON-GMO?
Our Mini Sweet Peppers are NON-GMO.

Are your products pesticide free?
Wilson Produce uses many techniques to mitigate crop damaging insects. We begin by farming with top quality seed, often a healthy plant is less susceptible to pests. Many of our growers utilize protective shade structures which can reduce environmental pressures, such as insects. Depending on the region and season, some growers use companion crops to serve as barriers and natural predator insects to act as enemies to damaging pests. All of our farms strictly adhere to USDA & FDA regulations and use approved treatments only when required. Additionally, all of our farms are audited and certified by Primus Labs to make sure our products meet high food safety standards.

Do your products contain animal or petroleum wax?
Some of our products may have been coated with a food grade vegetable coating. This coating is approved by the FDA and is non-toxic and non-hazardous.

The average refrigerator is set to 45 degrees. This is cold temperature is great for all of our products other than tomatoes. Tomatoes should be stored at room temperature to assure proper ripening and flavor.

Can I freeze mini sweet peppers?
Yes, you can freeze mini sweet peppers. Simply, wash and gently dry the mini sweet peppers. With a knife, remove the stems and seeds, then slice to desired size. Place sliced mini peppers on a baking sheet and set inside freezer. Once peppers are frozen, transfer to a ziplock bag or airtight container. Freezing fresh produce will change the texture, therefor thawed mini sweet peppers are best served in cooked dishes like pasta and stir fry.
